SOCOM began as a small, close-knit friend group but quickly grew into something far greater. It all started in a Gen 4 Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5 lobby, where the Chief of Defence Staff, Drew, was playing solo. That’s when he crossed paths with the Executive Director, Kerry. Both shared a unique bond—real-world military experience—and their shared passion for strategy and teamwork turned nostalgic memories into a new mission.

Together, they began to apply their skills in-game, recruiting like-minded players who were eager to learn and grow. What started as a spark became a thriving community with the creation of a Discord server, where the vision expanded and evolved. Since that day, SOCOM has grown beyond expectations. We’ve expanded our team, built a thriving community, and even advertised our group on the official BRM5 Discord Community Server. Along the way, we’ve established email communication, made a website which your reading this on and a custom domain, launched engaging programs and events, and accomplished so much more.
